DownQuick is a free download manager designed to give you absolute control over all your downloads. This software tool can be used to grab all those executable and media files that you usually download by clicking on a given link. Note, however, that DownQuick will not allow you to download HTML pages, torrent files, or to share your downloaded files with other users.

Creating a download list is a fairly easy task – all you need to do is send the link to your clipboard. The program will add that link to your download list automatically, provided that it points at one of the supported file types (executable files, images, archive files, etc.). This allows you to manage multiple downloads in a simple, clear, and convenient way. Instead of having multiple windows popping up with every new download, or multiple icons piling up on your state bar, DownQuick provides you with a clean interface where you can decide which files are being downloaded and when. You can change the download order, and stop and resume any of the download tasks easily. Besides, it will make a sensible use of your system’s performance at all times in order not to take up all of its resources. Its clear interface provides you also with valuable information about the entire downloading process.

When using DownQuick for the first time, you may need to spare a few minutes to find out how the program really works. The lack of help files, hints, or any other indication on how to proceed with the program may make it hard for new users to start downloading their files.
